Complete the following steps to install the XV Plus Gateway:
Refer to the system components diagrams below during the installation process as needed:
Step 1: Power the XV Plus Gateway
Connect a 12-24? VDC power supply to the DC Power input on the gateway.
Step 2: Setup the Primary Network Connection
The primary network connection on the XV Gateway and the panel should be connected to the same network switch. You can also use any network switch that is connected to the same subnet that the panel is connected to.
Complete one of the following steps to setup up the primary network connection for the gateway:
Note: The HDMI port does not support an external display of camera streams on the XV-24, XV-60, or XV-96.
Use a Network Switch

Connect an Ethernet cable from the panel to a network switch.

Connect an Ethernet cable from the gateway’s primary Ethernet port to the same network switch the panel is connected to.
Use the Same Subnet

Connect a network cable from the panel to a network switch.

If the XV Gateway cannot be connected to the same network switch that the panel is connected to, you can use any network switch that is connected to the same subnet the panel is connected to.
Step 3: Setup the Secondary Network Connection (Optional)
If you are using a secondary NIC at initial installation, connect the secondary network connection on the XV-60 or XV-96 prior to adding the XV Gateway on Dealer Admin. Ensure the primary network connection is also connected to the XV Gateway.

Note: The panel can only be connected to the primary network connection through the network switch or subnet.
Optional: Connect Additional External Devices
Use the additional ports to connect external devices to the gateway as needed. Refer to the diagram above for labeled gateway system componenets.
